Howdy!
I've been thinking about doing this for some months, but I think it's time that I combine this journal with my other one melancholywings. I originally split my journal into a 'rl' one and a 'dolly journal', however as i've gotten to know you all I've been posting rl stuff on here as well, and neglecting the other journal. I just can't keep up on both of them, so I don't keep up on either, and that makes me feel bad. I'm retaining the other journal over this one because the user name is the same as I use on all the dolly boards.

So I'm going to go through and re adding everyone to that one. And all dolly pics will be posted over there. Hope to see you over there!

Forgive the druggie rambling. This sinus thing is kicking my ass.
Hap, Bean and I went to the doll show and ran into <ljuser = ptwinny> and her daughter (I can't remember her ljname! I think she's missing from my flist). They are really some of the nicest BJD people out there. And it's so nice to see them again. They showed me their dolls, both adorable...so loved the eyes in them. And shared the bad news about dolls and friends closing for good. So sad there, both my Sooah Minette and Pipos Amelia came from them. Bearzabound isn't as BJD heavy. Ren won't be able to take me there for my birthday any more. Although I would have panic attacks at the trunk meets because of how enclosed it felt mixed with all the new people.
I bought a skipper flower girl dress for my Blythes, and an adorable madam alexander dress for Amelia. I will take a picture after I make her a matching hat. I had my Twingkey with me curled up in my egg shapped case. She looked so cute in it. I need to finish the outside of the case.
I even got a little sewing in Sunday when brownies was cancled. No doll clothes but I made bean part of her halloween costume. She's going as a pokemon trainer. Everything is pokemon with that girl these days.

Purchased a dehumidifier, LOVE it so much. Those suckers are kind of big. Every northwest home should come with one. But the carpet smells musty now. I'm wagering it needs to be replaced, hell it need to be replaced before the great flood. But with family comming for Thanksgiving there's not enough time to do it. I'd rather buget it in for next summer.

I've been reading a lot of craft blogs. Did a wee bit of sewing but not much. Worked on some dolly jewelry.

So my packages are all in the mail, but they went out later than I intended. Not like scammer late, but i'm a person who has become oddly punctual, and being late at anything - even by the smallest amount bothers me.
The yardwork has dug up a crap load of stuff that's making my allergies go bat crazy. My head hurts:(. It's getting hot outside - looks like summer finally started. And I'm out of things to whine about.

Well got that out of my system.^^

Ugh today!

Woke up to them tearing down the trees in my front yard. These trees are huge, tall NW trees. So you'd think there's be some science to taking them down? Oh no. They chip away at them with the digger thing, then grab the tree like a crane game and run a chainsaw through it. Nothing says good morning like the sound of a chainsaw.

I'm a bit alarmed at them possibly dropping a tree on my house. So I wake bean up, in a rush get her dressed and we get out the door. Talked to the construction people, they haven't yet aquired the house next to us (duplex rental) so that'll be interesting how it affects the street. The workers were all very sweet, and felt bad for those of us living on this street of future hell.

Get half way into work, and realize I forgot the mail I needed to post (our mail is currently on hold because of the construction) and my lunch & breakfast. Drive past my coffee shop, have to turn around and go back for a bagel and coffee.

It's one of those days.

Our fence was ripped out, but our trees are still standing for at least another day. We've had to stop our mail and I hope the garbage men get our garbage.

Busy sewing, working on some people clothes right now and washing and folding fabric. One day if space ever allows it, I wouldn't mind the berry happy home, gazeboo and trike....really wanted that trike growing up. The dolls I'm missing are parts to PP Peach, Plum, and an OOB Crepe Suzette, the pet monkey and pet pupcake.
Funny enough Bean has started to play with my dolls quiet a bit. She claims they are better than her new ones.

Simple pictures.

Too rainy to take pictures today so I got a bunch of sewing in. Made Isabet a skirt to go with the shirts I bought her. Only problem? The shirts are too big! Isabet is a very skinny long legged girl. Hopefully the shirts fit Minette once I can ger her out of the Fer.

And musedoll is amazing, all the details, I even got a freebie shirt for the wait (I didn't think they were late by much but the shirt is one I REALLY wanted), a striped baggie, several cards including a note to me. ^^ The resin is different than both Elfdoll or Dod. She's very light and has the longest legs.

I adore the little bow on her headcap.
